SHE SAT THERE

She sat there silently
Watching him from a far
Waiting for a smile…
A warm word
Yet, always to shy to ask

She sat there longingly
She watched him
Exchanged easy jokes
She seen him laughed
And played
She saw him always
With his friends
Never noticing she’s was there

She sat there agony
As she gazed adoringly toward him
Willing for their eyes to meet
But when they almost do
She’d turn away
Scared if her feelings shows

She sat there patiently
A silent admirer
An unnoticed caring heart
An unspoken loved
One’ he’d never know….
